<p>The invention concerns a method and a device for detecting defects in at least one rotor of a rotary wing aircraft, in particular of a helicopter, and for adjusting said rotor. The method is characterized in that it consists, in a preliminary step, in using a reference aircraft corresponding to a particular type of aircraft, whereof the rotor (6, 10) is defect-free and is adjusted such that the vibratory level is minimal, in performing a series of measurements on the aircraft (1) and deducing therefrom a neural network illustrating the relationships between accelerations representing vibrations, and setting defects and parameters. Then, in a subsequent step, for a particular aircraft (1) of said similar type, in performing measurements on said particular aircraft (1), based on said measurements and on the neural network, in detecting possible defects and determining the values of setting parameters, which enable the vibratory level of the aircraft (1) to be reduced to a minimum, and applying them to the rotor (6, 10).</p> |
