PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low gas-permeable hose applicable to various purposes and largely reducing permeated gas volume, while retaining flexibility and bendability even in a harsh environment. SOLUTION: The low gas-permeable hose is an elastic hose having at least an inner layer 1 and an outer layer 6 and is provided with a gas-barrier wire mesh layer 3 inside of the outer layer 6. In the gas barrier wire mesh layer 3, an open area ratio of wire mesh is 20 to 70%, and a wire diameter of the wire mesh is 0.025 to 0.3 mmϕ, more preferably 0.05 to 0.15 mmϕ. The inner layer 1, an inner elastic layer 2, the gas-barrier wire mesh layer 3, an outer elastic layer 4 and the outer layer 6 are piled in order from the inside, and preferably, a reinforcing layer 5 is provided between the outer elastic layer 4 and the outer layer 6.
