<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink jet recording multi-layered paper which can be printed with an ink jet printer at a high speed, has an excellent ink-absorbing property, an excellent image-reproducing property, and an excellent surface strength and can also be suitable for offset printing, and to provide a production method for efficiently producing the ink jet recording multi-layered paper on machine. <P>SOLUTION: This ink jet recording multi-layered paper on whose one side an ink-receiving layer consisting mainly of a pigment is disposed and on whose other side the base paper is stripped without disposing an ink-recording layer consisting mainly of a pigment is characterized in that the base paper comprises the combination of three or more layers consisting mainly of wood pulp and/or waste paper pulp and comprising a front side layer contacting with the ink- receiving layer, a back side layer on the opposite side and an intermediate layer placed between the front side layer and the back side layer and further that the sizing degrees of the layers are sequentially and gradually enhanced from the front side layer to the intermediate layer and further to the back side layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
