PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier with an output image having high maximum density of development and high resolution can be stably obtained for a long period. SOLUTION: The carrier is obtained by forming a polyolefin resin coating layer on the surface of magnetic particles by a surface polymerization coating method.
