<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noninvasive organism temperature measuring device and a method. <P>SOLUTION: This organism temperature measuring device is characterized by being equipped with a signal reception part for receiving an electromagnetic signal radiated from a measuring site of an organism, a signal processing part for processing the electromagnetic signal inputted from the signal reception part and outputting the radio wave quantity, a medium characteristic measuring part for measuring the conductivity or the permittivity of the measuring site of the organism and transmitting the measured value, and a temperature conversion part including a database for storing a temperature conversion table relative to a plurality of radio wave quantities by the conductivity or the permittivity of the organism, for selecting the temperature based on the measured value of the conductivity or the permittivity and the radio wave quantity of the electromagnetic signal. Hereby, the temperature conversion table relative to the radio wave quantity fit to a medium characteristic of the organism is provided, and reliability to the converted temperature is improved, and an abnormality of a human body can be discovered early. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
