<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for front and rear wheel drive vehicle capable of exhibiting an excellent mounting property to a vehicle and capable of reducing exclusive design for a four-wheel drive vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In this drive device for front and rear wheel drive vehicle, one of front and rear wheels is driven by an engine 11 and the other of the front and rear wheels is driven by an electric motor 14. The drive device is provided with the electronic motor 14, an alternator 12 driven by the engine 11 and capable of varying generated power voltage, and a changeover switch 17 for selecting connection of the alternator 12 to a low voltage auxiliary machine side and the high voltage electric motor 14 side. The changeover of the power generation of the alternator 12 is controlled to the low voltage power generation side and the high voltage power generation side, and the changeover of the connection of the alternator 12 is controlled to the low voltage auxiliary machine side and the high voltage electric motor 14 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
