PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a holding box for a laser device and a laser system.

SOLUTION: The approximately airtight holding box 300 holds the laser device 100 using a borate crystal of a chemical composition expressed by CsLiB6O10as a wavelength conversion element for generating UV light in the prescribed environment, in which a dehumidifying unit 330 for decomposing the steam in the holding box or condensing the steam and discharging the condensate to the outside of the holding box is disposed in the open part of the wall of the holding box.
