PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an internal combustion engine for preventing over rich of fuel by preventing accumulated fuel from rushing into a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: An intake pipe 2 is provided with an intake flow control valve 4, and an opening 4A for mainly passing air is formed at an upward position of the intake flow control valve 4. An engine ECU controls opening or closing of the intake flow control valve 4. When liquid accumulation of fuel F occurs on the downstream side of the intake flow control valve 4, the accumulated fuel can be gradually made to flow into the combustion chamber 14 by finely opening or closing the intake flow control valve 4.
