PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten slag processing method and a slag receiving vessel for remarkably improving a yield of processing slag by minimizing a slag quantity sticking to and hardening in the slag receiving vessel when performing granulating processing by discharging the slag by tilting or performing annealing processing by flowing the slag on an earthen floor after receiving the molten slag in the slag receiving vessel. SOLUTION: This molten slag processing method and the slag receiving vessel of the molten slag are characterized by receiving the slag plural times without separating and removing each time the hardened slag sticking to a surface in the slag receiving vessel for receiving and carrying the molten slag discharged from an iron-manufacturing smelting furnace such as a blast furnace, a converter, and an electric furnace.
