PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus, enabling simplification of a drain constitution in a toilet body and quick draining. SOLUTION: This toilet apparatus includes a water supply part 5 provided on the outside of the toilet body 1, a hot water device 9 connected to the water supply part to heat the washing water, a nozzle device 3 communicated with the hot water device to jet washing water to the a personal part of the body, a water stop valve 6 provided between the water supply part and the hot water device, and an air pump 13 for mixing the air in the washing water. The air pump is driven when the water stop valve is opened to drain water remaining in the water supply passage extending from the water supply part to the nozzle device. Thus, the air pump is used to simplify the drain constitution by pushing out remaining water in the water supply passage and perform draining in a short time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
