PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device using a semiconductor polymer scarcely causing doping with environmental oxygen and economically processable by a solution treatment. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises a polythiophene derived from one or a plurality of monomer segments containing two 2,5-thienylene segments (I) and (II) of chemical formulae (wherein, A is a side chain; B is hydrogen or a side chain; the number of the A-substituted thienylene units (I) in the monomer segments is about 1 to about 10; the number of the B-substituted thienylene units (II) is 0 to about 5; and the number of divalent linkage groups D is 0 or 1) and, as necessary, the divalent linkage groups D.
