PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately partly radially enlarge articular components constituting a curved tube for an endoscope, wherein the enlargement compresses guide protrusions. SOLUTION: The articular components for constituting the curved tube for the endoscope by coupling a plurality of the articular components coupled to each other are partly radially enlarged. An apparatus for working the articular components of the curved tube for the endoscope comprises a molding die 16 in which inner dies for partly radially enlarging are spreadably assembled and which is inserted into the components 1 at a working time, a retaining member 30 for retaining an upper end face of the component 1, a control punch 33 for controlling an outer peripheral surface of the component, and a radially enlarging punch 28 inserted into the molding die for spreading the inner die. The punch 28 has an upper die 15 moving so as to invade into and retract from the die 16. The die 15 stops approaching the die 16 when the retaining member retains the upper end face of the component and starts approaching the die 16 and causes the enlarging punch to invade into the molding die when the punch 33 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the component 1.
