PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining chair with a stand-up assisting mechanism, in which a weight is reduced with a simple configuration, and a production cost is also reduced. SOLUTION: When the operation rod 18B of an actuator 18 is extended from a normal seated posture position, a rocking frame 5 with the seat part 4 formed therein is rotated around a horizontal shaft 6 with respect to a main body frame 3 so as to be inclined downward at the front end. A seat back part 9 is rotated around a horizontal shaft 8 in cooperation with the rocking frame, its front surface pushes the back of a user M forward, and the center of gravity in a body is moved forward.
