<p>An expanding sleeve (2A) of an anchor bolt, in which a plurality of downwardly diverging axially extending slits (2a) are formed in the lower portion of a sleeve device (2), which is divided into upper and lower portions, for an anchor bolt so as to lock the anchor bolt firmly in a bore (4) in concrete in which the anchor bolt is to be implanted. In this sleeve, the curvature (R1) of a portion of the inner circumferential surface at a certain height of each sleeve member (2b) which is separated from an adjacent sleeve member (2b) via the slit (2a) is set substantially equal to the curvature (R2) of such a portion of the outer circumferential surface corresponding to an increased diameter lower end portion (1a) of a bolt body (1) that contacts the mentioned portion of the sleeve member (2b) when the sleeve (2) is fitted around the bolt body (1). In order to manufacture the expanding sleeve easily, the parts are formed into a flat plate.</p> |
