PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a rotary cleaning body twisting a base seat by a small force, spirally forming a blade, etc., in a well balanced state, and preventing an extrusion die from wearing and a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method for the rotary cleaning body 30 provided in a suction port body of the vacuum cleaner and wiping a floor surface, etc., a soft resin pipe 35 installed around the circumference of a shaft 34 to be a core material and having the blade 32, and a hard resin retainer part 36 having a groove 37 for mounting a brush mount 38 transplanted with brushes 33 and extending along the axial direction of the shaft 34 are integrally formed by extrusion. The shaft 34 is penetrated through a hole 35A of the integrally molded pipe 35, the brush mount 38 is installed in the groove 37 of the retainer part 36, and the end part of the pipe 35 is circumferentially twisted relative to the shaft 34 and the end part is fixed to the shaft 34.
