PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data transmission without generating delay fluctuation. SOLUTION: A unprocessed bit stream 11, which is generated by connecting logical channel groups provided from a higher layer (DLC layer) is scramble- processed, to generate a scramble-processed bit stream 12. A tail bit 13 is added to the bit stream 12, the bit stream 12 is encoded with a convolutional code, and puncture is applied in a prescribed pattern to generate a coded bit stream 14. After that, in the conventional technique, sequential block forming is performed for each OFDM symbol (unit) to be transmitted and interleaving is performed in this unit, but in this system, the depth of interleave is changed (e.g., changed to the general one-coding frame), depending on the types of applications of transmission data or on whether the characteristics of transmission path are changed, and interleaving processing is performed.
