<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a source device that carries out transmission to a display apparatus through an optical fiber after converting a transmission packet stream comprising digital image signals/audio signals to a light signal format. <P>SOLUTION: In the interface system between a stream source device and the display apparatus, the stream source device 100 receives the input of an analog or a digital signal from external analog or digital equipment, generates the transmission packet stream comprising the analog or digital signal, and format-converts the transmission packet stream to a light signal form for transmission. Additionally, the display apparatus 200 format-converts or decodes the transmission packet stream that is transmitted from the stream source device 100 for separating into the image signal and the audio signal, and carries out output via a display screen or a speaker respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
