PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal magnetic shield in which a first shield piece and a second shield piece can be stably jointed with a simple structure and a cathode-ray tube having the same. SOLUTION: The bottom wall 171 of the first shield piece 18 has a slope of separating away from the frame 13 from the center toward the edge part between the protrusion 151 and the frame hole 141, and on the other hand, the bottom wall 172 of the second shield piece 19 has a slope of separating away from the frame 13 from the edge part toward the center between the protrusion 152 and the frame hole 142, and thereby, they exert mutually reversed direction force at the portion where the bottom wall 171 of the first shield piece 18 and the bottom wall 172 of the second shield piece 19 are overlapped each other.
