SOUND ABSORBING MEMBER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing member showing excellent sound absorption and mechanical properties and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The sound absorbing member has microporosity made by removing at least a part of at least one resin from a resin composition comprising at least 2 components of resins and having a continuous structure of both phases having 0.01 to 1μm of a structural period or a dispersion structure having a distance between particles of 0.01 to 1μm. The manufacturing method of the sound absorbing member includes a process of forming the continuous structure of both phases having 0.01 to 1μm of the structural period or the dispersion structure having a distance between particles of 0.01 to 1μm by phase-separating at least 2 components of the resins by means of spinodal decomposition and a process of removing at least a part of at least one resin from at least 2 components of the resins to produce microporosity.
