PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid particles-carrying fiber uniformly fixing solid particles on a fiber surface or the fiber surface constituting a fiber sheet while effectively retaining the surface characteristic of the solid particles, and a method for producing a solid particles-carrying fiber sheet, and a production apparatus suitable for producing the fiber sheet. SOLUTION: The method for producing the solid particles-carrying fiber comprises forming a fluidized bed layer in which solid particles are dispersed and floated into stream heated to a temperature not lower than the melting point of the fiber surface of the fiber in which at least the surface is composed of a thermoplastic resin, passing the fiber through the fluidized bed layer and fixing the solid particles on the fiber surface. The production apparatus is equipped with a fluidized bed layer-forming means, a fiber-conveying means and a particles-removing means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
