PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for using a simple instrument and surely diluting a gas with a relatively low dilution ratio. SOLUTION: A step for activating a means for pushing out the gas, pushing out a predetermined quantity of the gas into a closed container and pushing out the predetermined quantity of the gas from a gas dilution container outside the closed container by using one of two external coupling openings and a step for activating a means for pulling in the gas, pulling in the predetermined quantity of the gas from the closed container and pulling in the predetermined quantity of the gas into the gas dilution container by using one of two external coupling openings are combined.
