<p>An image processing device includes extraction means (13) for forming a binary image from image data and extracting pieces where pixels are continuous, judgment means (14) for judging whether the extracted pieces constitute a manuscript image in the corresponding page according to the feature of the pieces, and output means (17) for deleting image data of the page having no manuscript image and outputting image data of the page having a manuscript image. The extraction means (13) has generation means for generating binary data from image data of multinary data. The generation means digitizes a target pixel according to a relative concentration difference with respect to surrounding pixels.</p> |
