A container for storing personal items of a patient, e.g. dentures etc. has a box shape and is fitted with a lid. The box has two hooks to secure to a bed frame. The box can be made of stainless steel or plastic and can be sterilised in an autoclave. The outside of the box is marked with symbols such a tooth, an eye and an ear, signifying the positions of various personal items.
