In a printing process, a transfer-loader moves a printing plate from a printing plate cassette holder to a light exposure processor. During the transfer process from the cassette to the processor, the loader moves the plate through a plane at a first height. During removal from the processor, the loader returns the plate to the cassette via a plane at a second different height.
