PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation diagnostic device which makes catheter insertion operation under radiography simple and easy, and sharply simplifies the operation, with improved throughput of a patient, and catheter top end part tracing function. SOLUTION: The X ray diagnostic device comprises a movable examination table 10 on which, an examinee P is laid; a means (18) composed of a radiographic system having an X ray source 12 and a detector 14, constructed so as to detect the X ray transmitted through the examinee P by the detector 14; a supporting mechanism 6 supporting the radiographic system capable of changing the relative position of the radiographic system and the examinee; a means (18) generating an image of the examinee in which, the distal end part of the catheter 22, having a marker against the X ray, is recognizable, depending on the collection signal of the detector 14; an a means (18) making the supporting mechanism 16 and/or the table (10) move and trace in compliance with the position of the top end part of the catheter 22 in the above image.
