PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a turning base lower section of a running body into a flat shape part, and a rear section of the turning base into tall shape part; and to load an engine on the running body without making the location of the turning base higher by utilizing the tall shape part. SOLUTION: On the running body 4 having front and rear wheels 2 and 3, a running-driving apparatus 1 having the engine 13 and a power-transmitting mechanism 14 is provided. The turning base 6 is provided on the running body 4 through a turning shaft 5. Then, on the turning base 6, an operating seat 7, an operating device 8 being arranged in front of the operating seat 7, and a ground work device 9 which is arranged in the vicinity of the device 8 are provided. In the running body 4, the lower section of the turning base 6 is formed into the flat shape part 4A, and the rear section of the turning base 6 is formed into the tall shape part 4B.
