<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device equipped with a human body-detecting means wherein an electric wave of a high frequency being suitable for the sure detection of a human body including a static state without being affected by a movable part being housed in the main body section in which the human body-detecting means is housed or a state variation of the inside, is utilized. <P>SOLUTION: This toilet seat device internally houses the human body- detecting means utilizing the electric wave of the high frequency for detecting a human body based on a wave-detecting signal generated by a transmitted wave and a receiving wave which is obtained by receiving a reflected wave reflected by the human body, and is equipped with a main body part which pivotally supports a toilet seat part in a manner to be rotatable.
