<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which improves adaptivity in mounting on a vehicle by shortening and reducing degree of concentration on touching operation of an operator with a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: Input device for a vehicle comprises a touch panel 14 for inputting operation, and a rough part 26 formed at the central section of the touch screen 12. The rough part 26 is slipperty toward a center point O which is a reference position for touch operation while hard to slip when exceeds the center point O. Thus, an operation finger 22 of a driver who is an operator is naturally guided to the center point O, which position is used as a home position to just press a position corresponding to a menu button on an operation screen.
