<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid high polymer type fuel cell in which polymerelectrolyte is stabilized at the same time that a sufficient proton-path is formed in a catalyst layer and a catalyst ink can be prepared easily, and to provide the fuel cell using this manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer includes a first process, in which mixing- heating treatment of conductive carbon particles loaded with catalyst particles, and a polymerelectrolyte solution, is carried out, a second process, in which by adding at least one solvent to the catalyst-loaded carbon powder, which is attached with polymerelectrolyte by the above first process, a part of the above polymerelectrolyte is made to dissolve to produce the catalyst ink, and a third process, in which the above catalyst ink is applied to form the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
