<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately reduce a DC constituent that is contained in an output of an inverter without using an expensive insulating amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: This power converter is provided with: a DC-DC converter 2 that adjusts the level of a DC voltage from a solar cell DC to a prescribed level; the inverter 3 that converts the DC voltage adjusted to the prescribed level into an AC voltage and outputs it to the side of a load LD; a current detector 71 provided at the output side of the inverter 3 to obtain a signal representing the output current; a filter 72 that performs the filtering of interrupting an AC constituent and passing the DC constituent for the signal obtained by the current detector 71; a signal generator 73 that generates a reference signal whose polarity is inverted every half a cycle; a comparator 74 that inputs the reference signal and signals that pass the filter 72 and outputs the signals in which a High period and a Low period appear alternately; and a controller 8 that drives and controls the inverter 3 in such a way that the High periods match the Low periods in a signal outputted from the comparator 74. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
