<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of sales person by making it unnecessary for the sales persons to receive the price at the time of delivering merchandise in a shop like a mass-sales shop. <P>SOLUTION: When a purchaser purchases merchandise, the purchaser inserts a card 6 having a purchaser ID recorded to a purchaser terminal 1 and inputs merchandise specifying information (a merchandise code or the like) specifying the merchandise to be purchased and pays the price for the merchandise. The purchaser terminal 1 transmits the purchaser ID and the merchandise specifying information to a server 4, and the server 4 registers both of them in a database 5 by correlating them to each other. Thereafter, the purchaser visits an installation place of a sales person terminal 2 and hands the card to a sales person. When the sales person inserts the card 6 to the terminal 2, the purchaser ID recorded in the card 6 is sent to the server 4, and merchandise specifying information registered correspondingly to the purchaser ID is returned from the server 4.
