<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a variety of components having different shapes and dimensions stably. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component mounter comprises a first nozzle 10 having a thin diameter part at the lower end, a thick diameter part at the upper end, a supporting part at the intermediate stage and a suction/discharge hole 16 in the center, a nozzle holder 12 fitted over the outer circumference at the thick diameter part of the first nozzle 10, a second nozzle 11 disposed slidably on the outer circumference at the supporting part of the first nozzle 10 concentrically thereto, a compression coil spring 13 for urging the second nozzle 11 downward, and a leaf spring 14 for locking the second nozzle 11 when it is located at an upper position while resisting against the urging force of the compression coil spring 13. When the second nozzle 11 is located at the lower position, a component is chucked by means of the second nozzle 11 through suction of the first nozzle 10 and when the second nozzle 11 is located at the upper position, chucking of the component by means of the second nozzle 11 is neutralized and the component is chucked only by means of the first nozzle 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
