PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition suitable for cleaning stains peculiar to baby clothes that are derived from bilirubin of urine and feces. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent composition comprises 1-10 mass% of a nonionic surfactant, 1-10 mass% of an 8-14C fatty acid, 1-20 mass% of ethanol amine, 15-30 mass% of an organic chelating agent, and 5-20 mass% of at least one of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide.
