<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified electrophoresis unit which is capable of both being stably operated without excess burden on a user at handling and achieving compactness and lightness in weight, and which comprises a safe interface in which a current is not impressed on an migration tank as far as a cover C is not covered with a lid. <P>SOLUTION: When the migration tank cover C is set at a migration tank main body B, protruded terminals 47 protruded from the cover C are located between electrodes 52 of the migration tank main body B and an electric control device A. When the electric control device A is set, one ends of the protruded terminals 47 are fitted in insertion holes 45 of sockets of the electric control device A, and their other ends come into contact with terminals 52 of the migration tank main body B to form continuity. By forming the cover C in a semicylindrical or semispherical shape and forming a ventilating hole 48 in its side surface to provide a ventilation design, it is possible to perform observation without being hindered by water droplets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
