The present invention relates to a steam-generating apparatus, and more particularly, to an apparatus for generating steam using an autonomous water supply, in which water in a water supplier serving as an auxiliary water tank can be supplied to a steam generator in a natural and powerless manner, and the pressure of steam can be applied to the inside of the water supplier to enable the water supplier to supply water, such that water in the water supplier can be supplied into the steam generator without using an additional power source, and the steam serves as a power source for supplying water, to thereby enable the steam-generating apparatus to operate in a stable and smooth manner. The steam-generating apparatus of the present invention can be applied to devices using steam, such as a steam cleaner, a high-pressure steam washer, a steam-generating device for a boiler, a device for enabling steam to flow from an underground chamber to each floor of a high-rise building, a heating device using steam, a steam-supplying device for laundry, a steam washer, and a steam-generating device for cooking. |
