RESIN MODIFYING MATERIAL AND ITS COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin modifying material suitable for improving impact resistance or melting characteristics of polypropylene. SOLUTION: The resin modifying material comprises a molten mixed resin composition of 2-85 pts.wt. of an acid-modified polymer (A) graft-modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an ionomer resin (B) in which at least a part of carboxy groups in an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer is neutralized with metal ions. A polypropylene resin composition comprises 5-40 pts.wt. of the resin modifying material and 95-60 pts.wt. of a polypropylene. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
