PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reduction in cost, facilitate the mounting/demounting of an attachment on a faucet, and secure a large working space below the faucet. SOLUTION: A first adapter body 13 is externally fitted into an outer periphery of a tip of the faucet J1 while being expanded by using an expanding slot thereof and a cut slot thereof; and an external thread 17 of the adapter body 13 is screwed into an internal thread 41 of a third adapter body 15. An external thread 37 of the adapter body 15 is screwed into an internal thread 51 of a shower nozzle 11. In this state, an opening end of the faucet J1 is brought into close contact with a seal ring 39 and put into a watertight state. Running water from the faucet J1 is shower-discharged from a shower hole 54 through a running-water inflow port 52 and a passage 53. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
