<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving sharp connecting elements into objects, an apparatus which can make use of various types of cartridges, consisting of a plurality of sharp connecting elements (14a or 14b or 14c or 14d or 14e or 14f) respectively defined as wide staples (14a), medium-sized staples (14b), narrow staples (14c), rounded staples or medium-sized curved staples (14d), flat pins with heads (14e), pins without heads (14f), grouped together and aligned; the apparatus has a cartridge guide (18) with a plurality of grooves (21) defined by a series of separators (19) whose size and position depend on the dimensions of the sharp connecting elements (14a or 14b or 14c or 14d or 14e or 14f); the apparatus has a pusher (27) with a means for attachment (30) to elastic drive means (28) fitted to an upper external section (27a) so that as it pushes the cartridge (36) its lower section (27b) passes in at least two of the said grooves (21).</p> |
