PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and compact transferring device with enhanced durability. SOLUTION: The transferring device is constituted of a fixed frame 10; a driving motor 21 and a speed reducer 22; a moving gate 34 with an opened entrance/exit; a loop member 39; a first fixing stopper 42; and a second fixing stopper 43. As a result, the transferring device has a simple mechanism as compared with the conventional one using a turn table and a movable stopper and does not have a movable part and an opening/closing mechanism for a stopper. In particular, the loop member 39 has a power transmitting mechanism for moving the moving gate 34; and a stopper function for temporarily stopping an article 3 to be conveyed by butting to the article 3 to be conveyed. As a result, in the transferring device, the number of parts is less and therefore, a manufacture cost is inexpensive. Durability is enhanced and an installment space is narrow and compact as compared with the turn table. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
