PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure capable of joining and fixing plate materials for construction without using nails and an adhesive while preventing its warping and squeaking to solve problems in a conventional joining method of the plate material for construction such as a floor, a wainscot and the like that as the use of nails and the adhesive to fix the floor materials, causes the rusting, sick house syndrome, and difficulty in remaking. SOLUTION: This plate material for construction has shiplap parts wherein upper and lower parts of projecting parts are alternately changed at equal intervals, or wave-shaped parts on both end parts in the width direction, so that the shiplap parts or wave-shaped parts are mutually fitted to each other and firmly joined without using the nails and the adhesives. According to this joining method, the plate materials for construction such as the floor and the wainscot can be integrated and fixed like a piece of plate, while preventing the warping and floor squeaking.
