PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a thrust gap of a rolling bearing in a reduction gear mechanism composed to adjust a distance between rotating centers of a worm and a worm wheel. SOLUTION: One end of a worm 1 accommodated in a housing 3 is supported by a rolling bearing 6. The other end of the worm 1 is supported by the rolling bearing 71 capable of moving in the direction of pressing the worm 1 toward the worm wheel 2. The rolling bearing 71 is pressed in the radial direction of the worm 1 by pressing members such as a coil spring 73. An elastic ring 91 urging the worm 1 from the pressing member side to the one end side in the longitudinal direction and applying the thrust load to the rolling bearings 6 and 71 is provided between the outer ring side surface of the rolling bearing 71 and the housing 3 so as to eliminate the thrust gaps of the rolling bearings 6, 71.
