The invention relates to a pressure measuring appliance which ensures that when the pressure transmission device is loaded, the liquid thereof, which is compressed by deviating the separation membrane into the supply line leading to the pressure measuring cell, can flow without interruption even when the separation membrane is positioned on the membrane bed, and without the position of the separation membrane on the membrane bed permanently impairing the elasticity of the separation membrane. To this end, the pressure measuring appliance comprises at least one pressure measuring cell (52) and at least one pressure transmission device (54, 56) having a pressure transmission base body (14), a separation membrane (16) which is fixed to said base body, a pressure transmission liquid (26) which fills the pressure transmission device (54, 56) and is used to transmit a process pressure from the separation membrane (16) to the pressure measuring cell (52), at least one supply line (66, 68) for supplying the liquid (26) of the pressure transmission device to the pressure measuring cell (52), a membrane bed (40) which is provided in the pressure transmission base body (14) and which faces the separation membrane (16), said separation membrane (16) resting on the membrane bed in the event of overload, a discontinuously formed surface (42) of the membrane bed (40), facing the separation membrane (16), and an eccentric confluence of the supply line (66) of the pressure transmission liquid (26) into an intermediate chamber formed by the separation membrane (16) and the membrane bed (40). |
