SUSPENDED MATTER REMOVING APPARATUS AND CULTURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspended matter removing apparatus the maintenance of which such as cleaning and the management can be easily performed. SOLUTION: A partition plate 50 having a cross section of a nearly spiral shape is disposed inside a removing tank 1 of a nearly cylindrical shape. An inflow port 4 for feeding water 3 containing suspended matter 2 into the removing tank 1 is disposed near a bottom of the removing tank 1 nearly at a center of the partition plate 50 and further an outflow port 5 for discharging water 3 containing the reduced amount of the suspended matter 2 is disposed at a lower part of the removing tank 1. In order to float up the suspended matter 2 to a water surface, an air bubble ejecting part 8 for ejecting fine air bubbles 7 into the water 3 in the removing tank 1 is disposed near the bottom of the removing tank 1 nearly at a center of the partition plate 50. A discharging removing port 9 for discharging the suspended matter 2 floated on the water surface 6 is disposed at the removing tank 1. The apparatus does not have a dual construction and a barrel shape of conventional apparatuses but has a simple structure and a simple shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
