<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens which can improve a symptom in which a patient who mounts the intraocular lens by extracting a crystalline lens as an operational treatment of a cataract and feels dazzling of an external light and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The intraocular lens includes a moth-eye structure on its surface. Particularly, the surface having the moth-eye structure prefers to satisfy relations of 0.001 μm<Ra(<SP>3</SP>)<0.5 μm, 0.001 μm<RSm(<SP>3</SP>)<0.5 μm and 0.01<Ra(<SP>3</SP>)/ RSm(<SP>3</SP>)<2.0, wherein Ra(<SP>3</SP>) is an arithmetic mean height of a profile curve element, and RSm(<SP>3</SP>) is a mean length of the profile curve element defined according to JIS B 0601<SP>2001</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
