<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for recovering a sheet in a zigzag manner with a constant fold width. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet recovering machine 1 which functions to draw into the sheet S continuously and recover it in a zigzag-folded manner includes a crease-forming part 5 for forming creases C so as to fold the sheet S oppositely every an approximately given length. The crease-forming part 5 has a pair of rollers 31 and 32 which nip the sheet S and are subject to rotating drive. Each of the rollers 31 and 32 is provided with recesses 45 and projections 46 engageable on the recesses 45 that are alternately arranged at given intervals on the circumferential surface. The creases C are formed on the sheet S by mutual engagement of the recesses 45 and the projections 46 on both the rollers 31 and 32 standing against each other with the sheet S nipped therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
