The tube panel protector consists of a pair of shells (4) fitted to opposite sides of the panel (1) and held together by keys (5) inserted through holes (6) between adjacent tubes (2). Each key has at least one free end (5a) to engage with a cavity (7) in one of the shells, holding it in place by gravity and/or adhesion.
