PURPOSE: A superconducting flywheel energy storage apparatus using a hybrid bearing is provided to reduce largely a loss of rotation and increase the energy storage efficiency by using a journal type superconducting bearing. CONSTITUTION: A superconducting flywheel energy storage apparatus using a hybrid bearing includes an external case(100), a flywheel, a superconducting bearing(400), and a permanent magnet bearing(300). The superconducting bearing(400) is formed with a journal type superconducting bearing for obtaining the stability to a vertical direction and a centrifugal force direction. The flywheel includes a steel rotation body and an external hybrid body(220). The permanent magnet bearing(300) includes a doughnut-shaped rotating magnet(320) and a doughnut-shaped fixing magnet(310) in order to support the flywheel. The superconducting bearing(400) includes a superconductor(420) fixed to a lower shaft(120) of the case(100) and a journal type rotating permanent magnet(410) fixed to the flywheel. |
