PURPOSE: A lighting apparatus for an air conditioner panel of a vehicle is provided to eliminate inconvenience of frequent replacement of a bulb by lighting the air conditioner panel with an EL(electro-luminescence) panel, and to adjust luminosity and color of illumination by varying the output frequency of an inverter. CONSTITUTION: A lighting apparatus of an air conditioner panel comprises an EL panel lighting according to output of an inverter(152), and the inverter operating the EL panel. The inverter is installed in a PCB(Printed Circuit Board,150) of the air conditioner panel with varying the frequency. The EL panel is placed in the rear part of a front panel(110), and a transparent member is simplified to illuminate an indicator(112) of the front panel with uniform light. Light is emitted by accelerating electrons in a fluorescent substance in applying power to the EL panel, and induced by the transparent member to light the indicator and switches(120) evenly.
