PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible-audible or usable contents distributing system for easily and safely acquiring the contents desired by a user. SOLUTION: A recording medium 105 for recording download permitting information is acquired by using a recording terminal unit 104. This recording medium is set in a terminal unit 102 to download contents information. A server 101 authenticates the download permitting information, and since contents information is distributed when download is permitted, this information is preserved in a hard disk of the terminal unit 102, and can be reproduced.
