摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a separator for a lithium battery with high heat resistance, high electrolyte resistance, and higher oxidation-reduction resistance than an existing separator. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the separator for the lithium battery has a porous film forming process forming a polymer porous film having an -OH group or an -SiOH group on the surface, and a reaction process reacting a silyl isocyanate compound with the polymer porous film. An irradiation process irradiating high energy beams is applied in place of the reaction process. The amount of the -OH groups or the like existing on the surface, which reduces the oxidation reduction resistance can be reduced in the reaction process or the like, and the oxidation reduction resistance of the manufactured separator for the lithium battery can be enhanced. Even if the polymer material contains the -OH groups, since inconvenience is removed in the reaction process or the like, the range of selection of the polymer material is widened, and the polymer material having desirable properties is appropriately selected.
